The former Iranian ambassador in Baghdad Hassan Danai fled on Tuesday, his country's support for the directions of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Mr. Moqtada al-Sadr, open to the Arab environment and non-interference in Iraq's internal affairs, pointing out that the Sadrists is the closest stream of resistance.
"Iraq is an Arab country and it must have relations with the Arab world and no one opposes this relationship," Danai said in an interview with the official IRNA news agency. "Iraq can not continue outside. Arab world".
He added that "the proposal presented by Mr. Sadr was good, and we also support it," noting that "Iraq is a country with a long historical record is the second or third largest oil exporter in the world, one of the Arab countries that could be a competitor to Saudi Arabia, Oil production and extraction compete with Saudi Arabia. "
The Iranian diplomat that "the American intervention (in Iraq) is meaningless," pointing out that "one of the attributes of the Sadrist opposition to the occupation and the intervention of America and others in the affairs of Iraq."
He stressed that "our friendship and our existing natural relations do not mean interference in the affairs of Iraq," noting that "some countries tried to attribute some lists to Iran in the recent elections."
"The Sadrist movement is the nearest resistance channel, so the path of our relations with the Iraqi government continues in the framework of independence and the two countries do not interfere in each other's internal affairs," he said. Ending / 25
