Iraq's ambassador to Iraq, Fatih Yildiz, said on Saturday that his country will continue to stand by Iraq on the waters of the Tigris and Euphrates and manage this water properly.
"Ankara considers the waters of the Tigris and the Euphrates to be shared waters, and it will not take a single step about water without consulting with its neighbor," Yildiz said in a series of Twitter tweets.
"I see the complaints of our Iraqi friends about water. I accept all your messages, your complaints and your messages. I will send them to my capital not because I am an ambassador and this is my job, but as a friend of yours and one of the Baghdadi."
Turkey offered its idea of cooperation when it delayed the storage of water in the Alesso dam and this time before it began to show sorrow, cooperation was also offered. "A very short time ago, we hosted an Iraqi technical delegation in Turkey."
