[ltr]Iraq's oil minister said on Wednesday that Iraq and Iran did not start the exchange of crude oil for technical reasons, contrary to the news agency of the Iranian Ministry of Oil.[/ltr]
[ltr]Iraq agreed last year to ship crude from the Kirkuk oilfield in the north of the country to Iran for use in its oil refineries, provided that Iran delivers the same amount of crude to ports in southern Iraq.[/ltr]
[ltr]Iran's Oil Ministry news agency said on Sunday that the swap had begun.[/ltr]
[ltr]On the sidelines of the signing ceremony of an oil deal in Basra, al-Allaibi also said that OPEC would meet on June 23, but an increase in production is not on the table because the market is stable and prices are good.[/ltr]
