On Sunday, the bourse announced the circulation of 17 billion shares worth more than 10 billion dinars in 17 sessions organized in June.
The Executive Director of the Stock Exchange, Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam said in a statement received by "Economy News", "Last Thursday was the last sessions of June 2018 in the stock market and data from trading indicators during the month mentioned that the number of trading sessions organized by the market was (17) ), While the number of companies traded shares (64) joint stock companies out of (102) companies.
He added that "the number of shares traded during the month of June amounted to more than (17) billion shares, while the value of shares traded more than (10) billion dinars."
On shares bought from foreign investors, Abdul Salam said that "912 million shares worth more than 2 billion dinars, while shares sold by foreign investors registered more than 2 billion shares worth more than 2 billion dinars."
"The ISX60 index closed at 593.98 points in the first session of June and closed at 579.06 points at the end of the month, down by 2.51 percent," he said.
