BAGHDAD - Iraq's oil ministry has signed a final contract with Baker Hughes, a company run by giant General Electric, to invest gas associated with the fields of Gharraf and Nasiriyah, in the south of the country.
Oil Minister Jabbar al-Allaibi said in a statement received by "Eye of Iraq News", "the immediate direct operations of optimal gas associated with the fields of Gharraf and Nasiriyah in the province of Dhi Qar, during the signing ceremony of the final gas investment associated with the fields with Baker Hughes / General Electric "He said.
He added that "the energy invested from the gas associated with the production of the fields of Gharraf and Nasiriyah will amount to 200 million standard cubic feet per day, in addition to the project will save 1000 tons of liquid gas and 900 cubic meters of condensate.
