Campaign to remove environmental violations in Baghdad and the provinces
27/8/2018 12:00 am [rtl]Including unhealthy landings and random islands Baghdad / Wafa Amer The Ministry of Health and Environment launched a campaign to remove environmental abuses and to issue warnings to stop the illegal landfill violations and the indiscriminate islands in Baghdad and the provinces. The Director General of the Department of Awareness and Environmental Information in the Ministry, Amir Ali Al-Hassoun, made a special statement to the "morning": His ministry stressed on all the municipal directorates in Baghdad and the provinces the need to provide the necessary environmental conditions and conditions to protect the health and safety of the citizen and exposes the necessary measures against all violators Through a campaign that includes removing environmental abuses and punishing violators. He added that it warned 14 civil health institutions in Baghdad to violate the environmental determinants, as well as to alert the departments of the municipality of Baquba and the area of Kanaan because of the spread of waste in the areas that fall within their responsibility, noting that they started to remove the waste and away from residential areas to prevent the dangers. Al-Hassoun added that the technical teams of the Directorate are keen to use the correct scientific methods to treat the waste by burying and filling it and using the security institutions by setting up police patrols at the landfill sites to hold accountable those who throw the waste inside the site.
