    On Wednesday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the creation of 500 jobs in the private sector to employ the unemployed registered in its database.
    "The survey teams in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs conducted 993 field visits during the first half of this year, in which about 500 jobs were obtained," ministry spokesman Ammar Menem said in a press statement.
    Ammar added that "the jobs available to the ministry and published through the website are within the private, mixed and cooperative sectors and those who are accepted to work in it are covered by the privileges of the law of retirement and social security of workers."
    A spokesman for the Ministry of Labor that "this step is one of the contexts followed by the ministry to reduce the size of unemployment and its pursuit of employment seekers."
