    MP Walid al-Sahlani said on Monday that the names that the United States calls the popular crowd and calling it "sectarian" are merely attempts to stir up a media storm aimed at scattering the popular crowd after its achievements.
    Al-Sahlani said in a statement that "America is trying to inculcate Iraq with regional tensions or disputes between countries, which is unacceptable and can not slip into Iraq," pointing out that "Washington is seeking to stir up a media hype about the popular crowd, to remove the image of the crowd in his battles Against terrorism, by launching some sectarian labels towards the popular crowd. "
    He added that "Iraq rejects the policy of starvation and siege practiced by America in order to settle the regional and international accounts, because all peoples have the right to live decent away from such policies, and UN organizations take their role to stand against America's actions towards the peoples."
    "The foreign ministry must address the issue of the US Embassy in Baghdad and take its role in defending the institutions of the state and the people. The parliament is also concerned with the recommendation of the government to establish controls and constants for countries and embassies to respect international relations," he said.
