    Information / Baghdad..
On Tuesday, the spokesman for the popular legal movement, Muhammad al-Sahhaf, considered the American moves a media whirlwind and a psychological war to put pressure on the Iraqi government to ensure its presence for a longer period in Iraq.
Al-Sahhaf said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, "The United States of America is trying to exploit the threat of targeting Iraq as a pressure card to ensure its stay in Iraq for a longer period."
He added, "The confusion that was raised recently about the US moves on the border strip adjacent to Syria is just a media whirlwind and a psychological war," noting that "there is unfortunate political silence, and we hope that the Iraqi government will take a firmer stance against any US moves."
He explained that "the United States of America seeks, through its actions, to break the will of the people and to work with a policy of bullying and the constant brandishing of the striking force of international covenants and norms, displaying the wall."
He stressed that "the Iraqi people still maintain their right to self-determination, which is a principle endorsed by the United Nations in the face of any external interference that attempts to target the unity and sovereignty of Iraq."
The leader of the Badr Organization, Muhammad al-Juybarawi, described in a statement to Al-Maalouma, the American movements inside the Syrian depth and on the Iraqi borders, as a mock show to prove its presence in the region, stressing that it is going through its weakest condition and will not be able to take any military risk.
