(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) A deputy of the Fatah Alliance, said that Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, convinced of the candidate of the coalition of construction, Faleh al-Fayadh to take over the portfolio of the Interior Ministry.
"The Fayadh candidate Abdul Mahdi and if there is stuck is sticking to it," noting that the Fayadh "is the head of the bloc (tender), which is a component of the coalition of the Lebanese and not in the alliance of Fatah exclusively."
"There is no disagreement between others and Fatah on the nomination of Fayyad, but on the contrary there is consensus and consultations between them," noting that "Abdul-Mahdi has the full space in the nomination and this time we will not leave him an argument in the selection."
"The Fatah will be the first party in the accounting of Abdul Mahdi, if he fails in his duties," denied that "Fatah will be pressing the Prime Minister on the nomination of Fayyad and can be clarified by the Prime Minister before Parliament."
He called on "Abdul-Mahdi not to risk a person or approaching failure because of these pressures and is supposed to be free of these choices," adding that "
He pointed out that "the Mahdi should not wait for political consensus in the resolution of vacant ministries or else it will remain disabled and it has to put candidates before the parliament, who decides the choice by voting acceptance or rejection."
