Saleh confirms from Riyadh the importance of activating trade and economic exchange with Saudi Arabia
BAGHDAD / ... The President of the Republic , Barham Saleh, during a meeting with Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment and Minister Majid bronchopulmonary Energy and Mineral Resources Khaled Al- Faleh, Monday, the importance of activating trade and economic exchanges with Saudi Arabia.
"President Barham Saleh received at his residence in Riyadh today Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment Majid Al-Qasabi and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Khaled Al-Falih," the office said in a statement.
Saleh pointed out in his speech with the ministers, "the need to activate cooperation in the economic, trade, agricultural, investment and oil sector, so as to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries."
He stressed "the importance of developing ways to raise the level of trade and economic exchange between the two countries and exchange experiences and joint coordination in all fields."
"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's desire to support the economic partnership and investment cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom's desire to reach a better and wider horizons of cooperation for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples."
The statement said that "the meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hakim and industry Saleh Abdullah al-Jubouri and a number of experts and advisers from both sides." Finished
