    [ltr]The Speaker of the Parliament Salim Al-Jubouri met on Sunday with Saudi Ambassador Abdul-Aziz Al-Shammari, stressing the need to activate the economic and investment development factors between the two countries.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdul Aziz Al-Shammari during his visit to the headquarters of the Embassy in Baghdad," the Information Office of Jibouri said in a statement received by Mawazine News.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The two sides discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and the Kingdom and means of strengthening them to ensure the common interests between the two brotherly countries," the statement said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Al-Jubouri stressed Iraq's keenness to build close relations with all countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for its prominent role in supporting the issues of the region and its honorable stand and its relentless efforts to fight terrorism and its ideology. He appreciated the Kingdom's position in the reconstruction of Iraq and the relief of displaced people affected by Terrorist-supporting practices ".[/ltr]
