The delegation of the House of Representatives headed by Talabani, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, arrived Wednesday evening in the Turkish city of Istanbul to participate in the 11th session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
"The parliamentary delegation will participate in the meetings that will be held on Thursday 2018 under the chairmanship of Speaker of the Turkish National Assembly Ben Ali Yildirm and attend the heads of parliaments and delegations representing 27 member countries of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly," the statement said.
He added that "the parliamentary delegation will hold a series of meetings with the delegations participating in the meetings of the Assembly to promote and develop relations between the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the Asian Parliaments."
