    Minister of Foreign Affairs for Arab Ambassadors: Priorities of our work to develop relations with brothers

    Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim stressed that one of the priorities of the new government in foreign policy is to develop fraternal, social and economic relations with Arab brothers.
    A statement from the Foreign Ministry that  "Hakim met ambassadors and heads of missions to the Arab countries accredited in Iraq, and during the meeting congratulations to the Minister on the occasion of assuming the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs in the new government."
    And reviewed the overall security and political situation in Iraq, and the events taking place in the Arab region, particularly the regional tour by President Barham Saleh and its importance to develop Iraq's relations with the regional environment and the great interaction that Iraq spent during this round of countries and their leaders.
    The minister stressed that the new government is committed to the implementation of the government's curriculum, particularly with regard to foreign policy, which is one of the most important priorities for developing brotherly, social and economic relations with the Arab brothers and the need for concerted diplomatic efforts to ease tension in the region, especially in Palestine and Syria. And find solutions based on constructive dialogue that preserves the security, stability and the Syrian people. "
    For their part, the ambassadors welcomed the convening of such meetings, which would bring the views closer and intensify the diplomatic efforts to open the horizons of joint cooperation on common issues. They stressed their seriousness in working alongside the Iraqi Foreign Ministry in the best interests of the Arab countries.
