"Sadoun": We will deal with US forces in Iraq as occupation forces since today

The Sadigoun parliamentary bloc announced on Thursday that it would deal with US forces in Iraq as "occupation forces" today, in response to a secret visit by US President Donald Trump to Iraq to meet American soldiers.
"The US president's visit to Iraq is a clear violation of Iraqi sovereignty," MP Ahmad al-Kanani said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah. "The presence of American forces is illegal and we will deal with them as occupying forces since today."
He added Kanani, "the bloc of Sadiqon will resist the Americans politically and diplomatically and in the absence of response we will have other ways to remove the American occupier."
And on the law to remove US forces from Iraq, Kanani stressed that "the law of the removal of foreign troops from the country is still within the legal committee," noting that "the bloc Sadikun submitted a draft to remove these forces and will work during the next phase to enact the law as soon as possible."
