    The parliamentary finance committee confirmed on Thursday that Baghdad and Arbil agreed to unify the customs tariff and fees at all border crossings of Iraq, indicating that the agreement stipulated the joint federal administration between Baghdad and the region in the ports of Kurdistan, provided that the latter obtains percentages of the revenues of those ports.
    The committee member Gamal Ahmed said in a statement that "there is coordination between Baghdad and Erbil regarding airports and border crossings on revenue received," noting that "less than a month ago, a meeting was held including the ministries of trade, planning and finance in the region with their counterparts In Baghdad, where the meeting resulted in the unification of border ports and tariff and customs fees and management of ports through a federal administration common between the parties. "
    Ahmed added that "the revenues obtained from the border crossings benefit the two governments in Baghdad and Erbil, where there is an agreement between the executive authorities on certain percentages to be granted to the region of those ports."
    The Kurdish border with Iran, Turkey and Syria, most notably: the crossing of Peshabir in the province of Dohuk with Syria and the crossing of Ibrahim Khalil with Turkey and the crossing of Hajj Omran is located in the province of Erbil with Iran and the crossing of Bashmakh and is located in the province of Sulaymaniyah and the Parviz Khan crossing with Iran. End 25 n
