{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Digital Media Center called on the Ministry of Communications to monitor the work of service providers in all governorates of the country.
The center said in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it today that "the ministry's recent steps in combating the smuggling of Internet capacities and pledges to reduce the price of the Internet, is positive and on the right way."
He stressed that "the criterion of success of the ministry in these files is reflected in the ability of the ministry to implement its decisions for companies and force these companies to abide by legal, security and financial controls and non-fraud in order to maintain their profits illegal."
The center pointed to "the need for the ministry to establish new rules to deal with the processed companies and prevent the tricks and stop what is done in connection with the Internet service of deceptions and disadvantages of the right of the citizen, and reduce its encroachment on the recent decisions of the Ministry and raise the proportion of profits without this reflected positively on the average citizen" .
He pointed out that "Internet companies have been accustomed in the previous reduction decisions to keep the subscription rates and the speed limit for each subscription category as it is, without improving the service provided."
The Digital Media Center in turn praised the steps taken by the Ministry of Communications in relation to reducing Internet prices and speeding up, and calls on citizens to lodge complaints with Internet companies that will not provide any improvement in service or reduction in prices after the decision of the ministry, which comes into force on Friday. is over
