A member of the parliamentary energy committee, MP Jamal al-Muhammadawi, on Friday, the inclusion of members of the research and employment departments to install electricity contracts and not exception.
"We call upon the Prime Minister to present the subject of the Energy Research Department and the Department of Operation and Control of the Ministry of Electricity and approve the installation of permanent owners and the establishment of degrees of employment to them like other counterparts of the contractors," Al-Mahmoudawi said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
He explained that "their exception from the fixation in the meeting of the Council of Ministers on February 26 because the two departments are funded centrally and the origin of the contract with them was with self-financing and not central."
He added that "the number of contractors in the two departments about 400 contractants are experienced and have been trained and qualified to manage the business system assigned to them," noting that "the volume of work assigned to the two departments is very large and the Department of Employment heartbeat in the ministry, through which control of the energy system Electricity in the country and that the number of employees on permanent owners is limited and does not absorb the volume of work. "
On February 26, 2019, the Minister of Electricity, Louay Khatib, announced the approval of the Council of Ministers for the implementation of the paragraph on the installation of all employees of contracts in the Ministry of Electricity on the permanent owners, within the law of the federal budget for the year 2019, amounting to about (33) Contracts (operational and investment)
