Virtue sends a message to Abdul Mahdi about pornographic sites

The leader of the Virtue Party, al-Atabi, on Saturday, that the government of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi is obliged to block pornographic sites, while referring to the status of the government of former Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, at the legal accounting table for not implementing this obligation.
Al-Atabi said in a statement that "the important social decisions taken by the House of Representatives in its previous session is Resolution No. (54) for the year 2015, which was approved by the Presidency of the Republic and issued by a presidential decision on 16/25/2015 and published in the Iraqi Gazette No. 4393, Dated 12/4/2015. "
He added that "this decision is to oblige the federal government to issue binding instructions to governmental and non-governmental bodies to regulate the work of Internet networks and to oblige them to block pornography sites in order to protect the public interest."
Al-Atabi said that "by this decision, the government of Abdul Mahdi is obliged to block pornographic sites by the decision of the presidents of Parliament and the Republic and the former government to the table of legal accountability for not implementing this obligation."
