    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The Neurosurgical Surgeon Hospital on Tuesday reported receiving more than 1,421 emergency cases in February, including 361 cases of high-altitude accidents and 166 cases of road accidents and motorcycles, indicating that most of the cases were head injuries, causing a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage.
    The director of the hospital, Dr. Samir Hamid Aldalfi said in a statement, "The hospital wholesale surgery boys receive around the clock emergencies, as well as cases referred to hospitals for head injuries, strokes and firefighting."
    He added that "the hospital emergency received during the month of February last more than 1421 emergency," noting that "among the cases 361 cases of fall from high places caused them to break the skull bone and cerebral hemorrhage and referred to emergency surgeries."
    He said that "the incidence of falling from high places ranged between children and young people during work, especially in the construction and the construction of blacksmith and others."
    He explained that "there are 123 emergency came as a result of traffic accidents caused head injuries, some of them died of the severity of the injury and 43 cases of motorcycle accidents and mostly Tikkk head and spinal cord."
    He added that "among the emergency cases received more than 295 strokes, most of them over the age of 50 years, as well as two cases of bullet to the head as a result of indiscriminate firing in addition to hundreds of cases of epilepsy and bickering and exposure to external severity and brain tumor and others."
    He stressed that Delphi "all incoming cases received first aid and then referrals were between intensive care and vestibules, processes , and some of them need to be transferred to other hospitals because of minor injuries outside the head" .anthy 1
