The cost of destruction and opportunities for lost growth in Arab countries that have witnessed wars between 2010 and 2018 amounted to $ 900 billion, World Bank Group First Vice President Mahmoud Mohieldin said on Monday.
While the official did not name specific countries, after the outbreak of the so-called Arab Spring revolutions in Yemen, Syria and Libya in 2011, these countries witnessed armed conflicts that greatly affected their economies and infrastructure, in addition to the destruction caused by the organization "calling" terrorist in countries such as Syria and Iraq.
