Abdul Mahdi vowed to bring the perpetrators of the events of Najaf to the judiciary

[rtl]The security forces, under the directives of the Prime Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Adel Abdul Mahdi, ordered the arrest of a number of executors for extrajudicial acts that killed a number of citizens and caused the intimidation of innocent people and the burning and destruction of property.[/rtl]
[rtl]"Investigations are under way with all the accused and all participants will be prosecuted by firing or burning, and to bring those found guilty to the judiciary," a statement from the office of Abdulmahdi Ward told the news agency.[/rtl]
[rtl]He stressed that "the protection of the freedom of peaceful demonstration in accordance with the rules laid down by the Constitution and the law," and "the need for the police and the security services in their duties to impose security and protect public and private property."[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement added that "Abdul Mahdi ordered the opening of an investigation into how the security services in Najaf deal during the painful events and the reasons for failure to avoid or reduce the human and material losses," stressing the "go ahead in the fight against corruption and spoilers and tension by all political forces and the public support for the reform and fight corruption Peaceful and legal means, "and called on all" to provide their documents and information to the Supreme Council for the fight against corruption to take the investigative and punitive measures in accordance with the law.
