Souron calls for alternatives to export Iraqi oil in anticipation of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz

Al-Rubaie, the deputy of the alliance of the two, called on Monday the ministries of transport and oil to find possible alternatives to ships and tankers if the war between Washington and Tehran erupted.
Al-Rubaie said in a statement that many Arab countries have resorted in the Arabian Gulf basin to searching for port options available to supply their imported goods to export their oil and gas products in anticipation of the possibility of the Strait of Hormuz closing in the event of war.
"We have not yet heard about the plan of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport, which is supposed to deal with the activation of the transport, export and import operations when the Iraqi ports are completely paralyzed as a result of the expected naturalization," he said, adding that Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Oman have announced their economic plans. "We have not heard of the plans of the Ministry of Oil to secure the export of crude oil through alternative corridors in the event of disruption of work in the port (Khor al-Amaya) and the port of Basra oil."
He called for "the existence of a national plan to face the expected prospects, and it is necessary to create the qualified staff for implementation and activation, and must be the Ministry of Transport silence to reveal the details of the plan, as well as for the Ministry of Oil, which has been silent and did not talk about the alternative plan.
He pointed out that "the Minister of Transport bears the consequences of this subject as the primary responsibility for the sectoral sector concerned with the axes of transport in all its details, and bear any failure in this regard." Ending 25 h
