The Civil Defense Directorate announced the causes of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] of agricultural crops, confirming that they numbered 272 fires.
The Directorate said in a statement that "the incidents of fires that affected the fields of agricultural crops from the date of the eighth of May and for a month and included fields of wheat and barley in several provinces of the country."
"The accident was caused by 74 electrical breakdowns, 35 accidents, 25 incendiary fire incidents, 22 incidents of burning cigarette butts, 32 accidents caused by external fire, 84 accidents not identified by forensic evidence," the statement added. .
The statement pointed out that "the number of burned areas during the last period from the eighth of May until the issuance of the statement amounted to more than 40 thousand acres."
He pointed out that "the number of areas saved from the fires amounted to more than 992 thousand acres of agricultural."
