    Transport Minister Abdullah Luaibi announced Friday that the completion of a railway line (Yusifah-Hilla), which extends to the length of 230 km.

    "It will be the start of the construction of a new line adjacent to the line (Baghdad - Hilla), the first phase was completed within this year's plan, which extends from Yusufiyah to the district of Musayyib.

    He added: "The technical staff in the Iraqi railway continues to rehabilitate the rest of the vital lines in accordance with international standards and specifications to ensure the flow of trains for the transport of passengers and goods and oil derivatives, the next days will witness campaigns to restore most of the railway lines."
