The Ministry of Transport announced the completion of a railway project linking three cities with Al-Muthanna Governorate, at a rate of 87%, while setting the opening date for the project as planned.
The transportation company stated in a statement received by Mawazine News that “the railway line project (Hijama - Sawa - Samawah) is one of the projects under construction within the work of the Blind Bay Company,” noting that “the completion rates in the project have reached 87%.”
She added, "The (Samawa-Sawa) section has reached 95% completion rates, with (double line) specifications, that is, a double line."
She stressed, "It is hoped that the project will be fully completed by the end of the year, as planned."
She pointed out that "there are three giant bridges and three car lanes (Under Pass) that are being worked on within the project."
