    The Iraqi Economic Council organized an economic workshop entitled "The National Strategy for the Development of the Private Sector and the Mechanisms of Forming the Supreme Council for the Development of the Private Sector, Objectives and Challenges", in the presence of the Minister of Planning and an elite of businessmen and businessmen. 
    Stressing the importance of working seriously on reconstruction and investment after the development and modernization and activation of laws supporting the private sector and investment, as well as work on the protection of national product and consumer protection and the activation of customs tariffs as well as anti-dumping as well as reduce the subject of administrative and financial corruption and extortion, General and the private sector in particular in all transactions and praised al-Baghdadi and the efforts of the Ministry of Planning and the procedures passed by the Minister with the relevant authorities in the central government and the international community in the file of the strategy of national private sector development, The importance of these efforts in enhancing the prospects of partnership with the public sector, pointing to the energies of the Iraqi private sector in various fields, which was waiting for such an opportunity to provide services at the national level and contribute actively to the provision of employment. For his part, the Minister of Planning, Dr. Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi, said that the Council will have independent representation in the Council of Ministers and the Committee on Economic Affairs, "to be heard and participate in the work of the Board of Directors of the private sector. Making and directing economic decisions and policies ". Dr. Nouri al-Dulaimi explained that the private sector needs an infrastructure that can be achieved through "a good environment and this is provided by the political decision, the driving courage provided by the businessman, and enabling the state to provide support for the national product and facilitate loans."
