The Committee said in a statement that "through the follow-up to the parliamentary committee for the report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on the death of the accused (Maher Ramahi) during the investigation of the position of the fight against the non-Najaf province after the issuance of the medical report on 16/7/2019, we inform you that the Commission on Human Rights is following Closely monitor cases in which some security services carry out humane violations in detention centers. In another context, the first deputy speaker of parliament Hassan al-Kaabi on Monday asked the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to provide him with official documents proving the existence of 7663 cases of enforced disappearance during the past two and a half years.
