The governor of Baghdad, Falah al-Jazairi, on Wednesday, the need to preserve public property and peaceful demonstrations.
"The demonstration is a right for all Iraqis to be guaranteed by the constitution, and we are with the legitimate demands of the demonstrators," the governor said in a statement received.
He added: "We are closely following the events that accompanied the demonstrations and we regret the casualties among the demonstrators and the security services." A 43
