The Alliance of Suron on Thursday turned the resignation request into collecting signatures for questioning the prime minister because it can only be dismissed after questioning.
The MP from the parliamentary bloc, said Badr al-Ziyadi, "the messages of the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr came in support of the demands of the masses," noting that his bloc "operates in accordance with the mechanisms of the Constitution and legal frameworks."
Al-Ziyadi added that "the others started collecting signatures for the presence of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi for the interrogation session," adding that "the resignation request has changed and turned into collecting signatures for questioning the prime minister because it can only be dismissed after interrogation."
He pointed out that the position of the parliament on the dismissal of Abdul-Mahdi or remain subject to his answers during the interrogation, pointing out that his coalition "believes that the questioning should be public to inform the people."
