    BAGHDAD -
    The Ministry of Justice confirmed on Monday that the priorities of the notary department in the eastern door sound and not burned.
    The ministry spokesman Thaer al-Jubouri, in a statement received (Mawazine News), that "the notary department in the eastern door did not suffer from the arson, which affected parts of the building during the security events in Al-Khalani Square."
    The spokesman added, "The Department continues to provide services to citizens and the burning of the fifth floor of the building, which was previously occupied by another department, and civil defense teams contributed to control the fire that broke out and prevented its spread to neighboring buildings."
    Al-Jubouri pointed out that "the priorities of the notary department in Bab al-Sharqi are intact and have not been burned."

    The Iraqi Commission for Integrity managed to thwart an attempt to destroy corruption files in one of the canceled offices of the general inspectors, while referring the perpetrators to the court.
    The Commission's Investigations Department, in its details of the operation, indicated that it had received information through its own sources about the existence of an attempt to destroy corruption files, including documents and records of investigative committees, official communications, recommendations and original books by smuggling them through waste containers after being torn by hand or by destruction devices.
