    Baghdad - news
Member of Parliament, candidate for presidency of the Council of Ministers Faik Sheikh Ali, confirmed today, Saturday, that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, will not appoint a prime minister until after a month from today, while noting that Saleh's waving of resignation is a professional political procedure.
Sheikh Ali told Al-Ikhbaria that, "The fact that the President of the Republic Barham Salih was threatening to resign is a professional political procedure from a seasoned politician," noting that "Saleh will not appoint a prime minister until after a month from today."
He stressed, "The Shiite political parties associated with the Construction Alliance are seeking to expel me and remove me from the position of prime minister," noting that "the parties are hostile to me because I did not blackmail a minister and ask him millions of dollars in exchange for not being questioned."
Today, the member of the House of Representatives and the candidate for the presidency of the Council of Ministers, Faeq Sheikh Ali, called on the demonstrators to support the survival of the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, in his position as President of the Republic, while he warned those who will occupy the position after him, saying, "You do not know the consequences of choosing an alternative to him."
