     Officials in the intelligence and security in the Kurdish region of Iraq, they warned Baghdad and Western intelligence agencies six months ago of an imminent attack of the forces of the organization «Islamic state in Iraq and the Levant» (Daash).

     Said Paula Talabani, leader of the anti-terrorism unit in the Peshmerga forces, saying «we received reports on Tuesday morning, according to the movement of a large group of fighters (Daash) to the area between Saadia and between Jalawla, confirmed reports over time, and called for a meeting with some of our leaders and asked whether they could progress in the region without a fight, and give them two hours to get out of the area.  The shooting stopped for two hours, but it allowed them to strengthen their lines and move forward before you start attacking us ».

     Talabani said that «Daash» derives its support from the Sunni Arab population about Jalawla.  He added «Some locals welcome us while we passed them, then pick up their automatic guns and shooting at us from behind.  Did not constitute a shock to us, but we are surprised they are doing it in the presence of their wives and children beside them ».
