, the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives revealed, Tuesday, the fate of all appointments and financial grants issued by the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, who resigned.
Member of the Finance Committee Haneen Al-Qaddou said, "All the appointments and financial grants issued by the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, resigned, are obligated to respect the new Allawi government, to show credibility with the Iraqi people, amid crises passing through the country."
He added that "the committee is still awaiting the budget after its amendment from the new government, to discuss some of the priorities that it belongs to from the committee, in order to approve it, and then discuss it with the Ministry of Planning and Finance and the Council of Ministers, to come out with a final formula consistent with the requirements of the current stage."
Al-Qaddo emphasized that "appointment decisions and financial grants from the resigned government, and that they were emotional, as a result of public demands in the demonstrations, will only be addressed, with an emphasis on their respect by the current government." Ended 29 / A 43
