Iraqi demonstrators were subjected to all means of repression by the Iraqi authorities and pro-Iranian armed militias to end their protests of killing, kidnapping, live bullets and tear gas canisters.
This resulted in the death of more than 600 protesters and 30 thousand injured, as well as the kidnappers and all means of terrorism against the demonstrators, activists and the media.
The leader of the "National Coalition" in the House of Representatives, Iyad Allawi, has begun to internationalize the issue of suppressing protesters in Iraq.
Allawi said, "A committee of lawyers began preparing lists of names of those who participated in these crimes in order to submit them to the International Criminal Court."
For his part, Dr. Ali al-Tamimi, an expert in international law, says: When domestic laws fail to solve problems, then the role of the United Nations appears, and killing protesters violates the 1948 Treaty and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Al-Tamimi added, "More than 16 countries have condemned the violations suffered by the demonstrators, including the permanent members, and the progressive Security Council resolutions against Iraq will begin."
Al-Tamimi added, “The Security Council can form a special court and refer the file of human rights violations in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to it, or refer the file to the International Criminal Court, then the case will be internationalized.”
The Iraqi protests that refused to assign Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi to form the new government escalated, as thousands of students from Karbala universities went out in a mass demonstration.

Hundreds of students flocked to streets leading to the symbolic Tahrir Square, the main stronghold of the protest in Baghdad, carrying pictures of Muhammad Allawi, with a red hint in his face.
The protestors of Tahrir have authorized Al-Haboubi Square in Dhi Qar Governorate to be a spokesperson for the Iraqi demonstrators.
