{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Taybah Karbala Company responsible for the Karbala International Airport project denounced the American bombing of its headquarters in the airport project, which caused the death of one of its employees and damaged the benefits of the headquarters.
The company stressed that "this project is a well-known civilian airport in the official sectors of the Iraqi government and aims to develop the Iraqi infrastructure by adding significant value to the aviation and tourism sector in Iraq."
And called on "the Iraqi government, local government and the Civil Aviation Authority to condemn and denounce this act of aggression," calling for "an urgent international investigation through international organizations."
The Husseiniya threshold, announced Friday, that it will file a lawsuit with international courts over the targeting of the Karbala Governorate airport by US aircraft.
"The threshold will go to the competent international courts to file a lawsuit regarding targeting the Karbala International Airport site with a missile attack at dawn today, Friday, as it is one of the important Iraqi civilian sites," Al-Ataba official spokesman, Afdal Al-Shami, confirmed in a press conference on the airport project.
He added that "the losses suffered by the airport were the martyrdom of one of the workers, huge material losses, and 10 cars belonging to the executing company."
