Legal expert: The President of the Republic may not withdraw the assignment of Zarafi before the end of the legal period

Legal expert Ali al-Tamimi confirmed that the constitution does not allow the president to withdraw the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] before the legal period expires.
Al-Tamimi said in an interview, that the texts of the five paragraphs of Article 76 all confirm that the Prime Minister-designate has 30 days to complete his cabinet and his ministerial curriculum and present it to Parliament.
Al-Tamimi added: If Parliament votes on him to give him confidence and reversal, he is considered a failure and the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/989/%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%85%D9%87%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9]President of the Republic[/url] assigns another candidate according to Article 81, second paragraph of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .
He explained: There is nothing in these paragraphs that allow the President of the Republic to refrain from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] or assigning another candidate because there is no text to allow this.
Al-Tamimi continued, “It is permissible for the candidate or the assignee to apologize for the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] before the end of the period, at which time the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/989/%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%85%D9%87%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9]president is appointed[/url]Another candidate according to Article 81 of the Constitution.
