The deputy of the Sadikoun parliamentary bloc, Muhammad al-Baldawi, said on Wednesday that the Sunni and Kurdish blocs are expected to stand next to the Shiite ranks who refuse to assign Al-Zarfi to head the government, pointing out that the blocs prefer the academic personality over the judge’s personality in the prime minister’s office.
Al-Baldawi said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that “the Shi’ite blocs are still rejected by Al-Zarfi and it is expected that the Sunni and Kurdish blocs will be next to the Shi’ite class, given that the Shi’ite blocs stood by the Sunnis and the Kurds when they rejected Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.”
He added that "the political blocs went toward nominating a university professor, as well as from within the judiciary, to choose one of the judges for the position of the next prime minister."
And between "there is a fear of going toward choosing a judge and favoring the academic personality over him, with the aim of being flexible in dealing with such a personality." 25 n ended
