, the legal committee in the House of Representatives said on Tuesday that the new election commission had informed it that the election law was not enforceable and needed amendments.
And the member of the committee, Salim Shusha, stated that "the High Commission for the New Elections sent a letter to the committee indicating that the elections law in its current form is not enforceable and needs to amend some technical paragraphs."
He added, "The attached table of the law pertaining to determining electoral districts, the number of seats, the quota for women and the population density has not been voted upon so far." Ended 29 / A 43
