A deputy for Al-Fateh stresses the necessity of resorting to investment projects in financing the budget

MP from Al-Fath Alliance Muhammad Karim stressed on Thursday the necessity of resorting to investment projects to finance the budget instead of relying on oil revenues, noting that part of the failure of previous governments is to rely on oil as a primary source for financing the budget.
Al-Baldawi said in a statement to the "information", that "the 2020 budget should be a budget for programs and goals and differ from previous budgets, taking into consideration not to rely on oil imports only to finance the budget, especially operational."
He added that "the classic budget, which depends mainly on oil revenues and is distributed as salaries only, it does not fulfill the purpose and may not achieve the goals of the government."
And that "part of the failure of previous governments is the lack of a vision to shift through huge budgets to investment projects with a positive return so that reliance on their revenues to finance the budget instead of oil is placed first, especially as oil prices are in constant fluctuation." 25 n ended
