    Al-Ahed News - Baghdad
The head of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshlands Salam al-Shammari revealed that the coming days will witness the export of the most important agricultural crops to neighboring countries.
Al-Shammari affirmed in a statement singled out by Al-Ahd News today, Monday, that the export of agricultural crops aims to supplement the Iraqi economy after the faltering oil prices faltered.
He added, "More than 850,000 tons of wheat and barley crops will be exported to neighboring countries in order to supplement the Iraqi economy."
And al-Shammari said that agriculture did not invest properly, as well as a clear will to disrupt the agricultural reality. He pointed out that his committee had laid out a three-stage plan on how to revitalize the agricultural reality, and added that the surplus of other agricultural crops will also be exported to neighboring countries.
