The independent politician, Saad Al-Muttalabi, confirmed, on Thursday, that the Parliament's decisions contain implicit support for the views of Prime Minister Al-Kazemi.
"Parliament is a partner that bears a large part of the responsibility for what happens in terms of violations of the country and the violation of state sovereignty by striking government forces from an occupying foreign force," al-Muttalabi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma agency.
He added, "Most of the decisions that are issued in Parliament take the character of lack of seriousness and in a more precise sense not binding implementation," stressing that "those decisions issued by the People's House left the choice of implementation or not in the hands of Al-Kazemi."
He explained, "Whatever the number of laws and decisions that have been issued and the parliament directing the government to act upon them, it remains ink on paper because it has not set a binding condition in its implementation, and therefore it will not be described on the government’s shelves as the rest of the decisions."
He stated, "The review by the House of Representatives condemning and threatening the government and denouncing its silence towards sovereign issues and the American and Turkish violations, laughed at the people's beards."
He pointed out that "what is happening between the government and parliament and the exchange of accusations and exchanges is a process of systematic coverage of their mutual gains and not out of concern for the country's sovereignty."
