[Baghdad-Where] The
leader of the new generation movement, Shaswar Abdul Wahid, on Saturday played down the importance of any agreement that might be concluded between the center and the region regarding Kurdistan’s budget share.
Abdul Wahid said in a press conference held today in Sulaymaniyah, and attended by the reporter, that "Irbil and Baghdad, whether or not they agree, it is not possible to rely on sending the Kurdistan region’s share of the budget."
He explained, "The center and the region had previously agreed in one year and the funds were not sent, while their agreement failed in another year, yet the money was sent from Baghdad to Kurdistan."
And Abdel Wahid indicated, "The problem that the two sides face is the absence of an institutional team between them."
