[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Adel Al-Masoudi, Director General of the Foreign Relations Department at the Ministry of Trade, discussed with the Azerbaijani Chargé d'Affairs, Naseer Mamdouf, to activate the work of the joint committees.
According to a trade statement: "Al-Masoudi discussed during the meeting the issues raised in the meeting of the Azerbaijani Chargé d'Affairs with the Minister of Trade, Alaa Al-Jubouri, related to activating the work of the joint committees and ways to develop economic and trade relations and increase the volume of trade exchange between Iraq and Azerbaijan.
" On the importance of holding joint committee meetings as soon as possible in Baghdad and preparing for the signing of memoranda of understanding between the two countries.
For his part, the Azerbaijani Chargé d'Affairs emphasized "the importance of holding a conference for businessmen to be followed by holding the committee meeting in order to advance the reality of the private sector in both countries, which will contribute to the introduction of the Azerbaijani investor into Iraq," expressing at the same time his country's desire to establish an Iraqi-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce in Baghdad.
In this regard, Al-Masoudi stressed the ministry's readiness to provide support for this proposal to obtain the fundamental approvals for the establishment of the chamber and how to proceed with the necessary procedures, with an emphasis on the importance of communication between the two parties for the purpose of the success of this mission.[/rtl]
