    A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Representative Mona Al-Gharabi, said, Monday (March 29, 2021), that the main reason for the high exchange rate of the dollar in the financial budget "has been eliminated."
    " The Kurds have many points of contention over the budget," Gharabi told  IQ FM , expressing her hope that "the northern regions will look to their counterparts in the southern regions."
    Al-Gharabi, a member of the Al-Hikma bloc, added that "the differences over the financial budget in general are due to the desire to restore the dollar’s ​​exchange rate to what it was previously," considering that "the main reason for the high exchange rate of the dollar in the financial budget has been removed."
    Al-Gharabi promised the budget as "unfair if I pass the current exchange rate of the dollar," noting that "the budget’s absence of appointments includes great difficulty for those whose contracts have been canceled from defense, the interior, the crowd, the ration card items and the lecturers. These are all paragraphs that cannot be crossed."
    Representatives from the Al-Fateh Alliance informed the presidency of the parliament, yesterday evening, that they refused to enter the session to vote on the budget in the event that the price of the dollar was not reduced within the provisions of the budget, which led, according to parliamentary sources, to postpone its holding until further notice.
