Minister of Trade: The file of farmers 'and farmers' dues will end soon

The Minister of Trade, Alaa al-Jubouri, announced that the file of farmers 'and marketer farmers' dues for wheat crops will soon be completed, after the recent financial allocations for the Ministry of Finance to pay them.
Al-Jubouri said in a statement received by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the ministry has worked with great efforts and with the support of the prime minister, to finalize the file of the payment of financial dues to farmers and farmers for what they marketed of the wheat crop for the 2020 marketing season and the ministry and after receiving the sums of money, a plan began to finish this file in Baghdad and the provinces." ".
And on the dues of marketed farmers and farmers for the rice harvest, he pointed out, "Trade also began with the distribution of 10% of the marketed farmers' dues for the rice harvest for the year 2021."
He added, "Supporting farmers and farmers comes within the framework of the central government's concerns, for the purpose of providing food security and supporting the Iraqi farmer through the marketing plan and paying dues despite the difficult economic stage the country is going through."
According to the statement, the ministry stated, "We recently received amounts amounting to 561 billion Iraqi dinars to pay the remaining dues to farmers and farmers who market the wheat crop."
