, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Elections Affairs, Abdul-Hussein Al-Hindawi, announced, on Thursday, the completion of all commitments for holding the elections, while indicating that matters are moving towards holding them on time.
Al-Hindawi said, according to the official agency, that "all obligations regarding conducting the elections, whether legally or logistically, have been fulfilled," pointing out that "the Electoral Commission confirmed its readiness to hold the elections on the tenth of next October."
He added, "The House of Representatives completed the legal legislations of the Federal Court and dissolved the House, in addition to sending the President of the Republic the decree on conducting the elections," stressing that "all matters are going towards holding the elections on time."
He pointed out that "the elections will take place in one day in all regions of the country, and there is no delay in any region." Ended 29 / A43
