    [size=45]Today, Thursday, the US State Department condemned Iran's actions and practices, which it described as "destabilizing" in Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]This came as a comment on the attacks on Bashiqa camp in Nineveh and Erbil International Airport, last night.[/size]
    [size=45]The Near East Department of the US State Department said in a statement: "Our condolences to the family of the killed Turkish soldier and we wish a speedy recovery for the young Iraqi woman injured in the Iranian-backed militia attack in Nineveh yesterday."[/size]
    [size=45]"We condemn Iran's destabilizing actions in Iraq, which have fatal consequences for the Iraqi people and their neighbors," the statement added.[/size]

    [size=45]"If Iraq does not protect us, we will have to protect ourselves in our own way," said the US Consul in Erbil, Robert Waller, in a press statement.[/size]
    [size=45]Waller added, "The Popular Mobilization Forces are a threat to Iraq," indicating that Iranian armed groups in Iraq are undisciplined and threaten all diplomatic missions.[/size]
