The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador Fatih Yildiz, the development of the economic sector between the two sides.
A statement from Barzani's office said that the latter "received the Turkish ambassador to Iraq, Fatih Yildiz, on the occasion of the end of his duties."
He explained that "in the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Iraq and the region and ways to strengthen bilateral relations, as well as the importance of consolidating relations between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region in various fields, especially the economic sector and its development through coordination between the two sides on the basis of mutual interest and balanced relations."
According to the statement, the Prime Minister praised "the ambassador's efforts during his tenure and his role in strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey, wishing him success in his future duties."
