    The Parliamentary Labor and Social Affairs Committee confirmed, Saturday, that
     the Social Security Law includes all employers and workers in the private sector. 
    Deputy Chairman of the Committee Hussein Arab said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency, which was followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the Social Security Law includes a group of important articles that benefit the various segments of Iraqi society," indicating that "the law includes all employers and workers in the private sector."
    Arab added, "The employer and the simple worker will insure himself according to a time and age limit determined by the Social Security Law, as is the case in the retirement of state employees, and that the social security pension is also inherited, just as the salaries of state retirees." Including: the pension is the same for the last three years, with health insurance for the woman.
    He continued, "Most of the employees go to the public sector because there is no pension in the private sector, and that the Social Security Law will reduce the momentum on the government public sector and appointments and open the door to the private sector," noting that "the law will include all workers, including the taxi driver and the owners of the stalls." And that workers can guarantee themselves through the law, "stressing that" the law has many advantages, and that it is still in the discussion phase and has not been formally voted on within the House of Representatives. "
    He pointed out that "the House of Representatives will read today, Saturday, the second reading of the Social Security Law and will set a day for voting on the law."
